Sumlin to lead us to the promised land

Well it took what seemed forever for uncle Dave to decide on who will be the next head coach to replace the "still proud to be a Cougar" Briles, but it was done.

I believe that Sumlin will be a good ball coach at UH bringing a good game every Saturday. My only concern is that Houston is by far not even close to being Oklahoma so can this coach win without the resources that he had at all the other BCS schools he coached at? what I'm trying to say is that UH has to be prepared financially to back this coach

First we need to revamp Robertson Stadium then we need to spend more money marketing the athletic programs. Overall uncle Dave did good and I look forward to next season. I believe we will see a very exciting team next year it will be interesting to see what an actual playbook does to a team.

p.s Thank you Art Briles for finally leaving. Now we can win a bowl game.

Pick a coach already.

Well according to Michael Murphy from the Chron Haywood is out of contention for the UH coaching job.

Needless to say that I believe it's for the best. I can honestly say that OU Sumlin is probably going to be our best bet. I hope we can get him on board soon. He can recruit the area well and we have all seen what Oklahoma's offense looks like. What's not to like about Sumlin?  just look at these stats.

Pardee or Haywood

Dave Maggard has narrowed his list down to two candidates to fill the head football coaching job at UH.

What it will come down to will be WINNING. Pardee has said he would be interested in coaching, the positives of this is that he can bring out those alumni that have not been so active in supporting our athletic department.

Haywood on the other hand does not have any head coaching experience and comes from the fabled Notre Dame program that showcased the worst team in that schools history.

In my opinion it's time to Pardee. I'll take Pardee over Haywood and take my chances.
